Shores is the second part of a series of books, in which I map my body differently each time. This topography of my body not only tells something about myself, but also about my relationship with the world. To what extend does the world define me? To what extend am I the world?
s h o r e s While the horizon still suggests a distance and so refers to the outside world, in shores the world offend you, the stream is dammed. I pressed balls of clay with force against myself, so that forms arose with the imprint of my body on one side and that of my hands on the other. The porcelain forms shown are real-size. The left side pages show the creation process. A4 format, 48 pages, 44 pictures black and white. 20 euro
